Who we are. When our third child was born with a congenital limb difference affecting both the feet we found a need for custom shoes.
Custom shoes were difficult to source, so I began to make them. I had no local mentor at that time. As a career educator, I would share the challenges of learning how to create shoes that not only fit, but a young lady actually wanted to wear during time discussion. This was a challenge I couldn't walk away from.

This was a challenge I couldn't walk away from.
In 2018, former students quietly created a fundraiser that would enroll me in a weeklong shoe making class clear across the country and change my life. It was a complete surprise to have such support and I frequently tear up when I tell this story. I remember sharing the story with other travelers along the way to that shoe making class. Someone stated rather flatly- "Wow, you can't fail at this." Our passion for custom quality goods was born.
